Actress Nkiru Sylvanus has been relieved of her duty from the cabinet of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State. The nollywood star was relieved of her position as Special Assistant on Lagos Affairs following a cabinet dissolution by the Imo State government which according to report is meant to affect all commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants and special assistants in the cabinet though the same report has it that some ay retain their seat.
Coming from the State Government, ‘the dissolution was necessary to give room for more capable hands into the system in order to fully actualize the rescue mission agenda of the State Government.’ Are we therefore saying that those asked to go are not capable hands? Well, only the governor can answer that. Ok Nkiru we wish you the very best as you move on.
