With the world celebrating the birth of the royal baby, could Google be far behind?
Hours after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed the arrival of a baby boy, Google launched a campaign to create the world’s largest greeting card, which will be printed and presented to the proud parents.
The virtual campaign invites Google+ users to add their profile picture, or a representative likeness in a form of a photo, drawing or picture, to an online mosaic and their name to the card.
Congratulatory messages can also be added by resharing the posted link.
The boys and girls at Google will add the words, along with the user name, to the greeting card, which will also allow members to look up their contribution to the cause.
Entries will close a fortnight from now, on 6th August.
Fans from across the world celebrated the birth of the third in the line to the throne of the British monarchy, when Kate Middleton gave birth to an eight-pound, six ounces baby boy on July 22 at 7.24pm UAE time.
Thanks TB
