Jim Iyke's Interview with Anita on The Making of a Mugul-People Misrepresent me and they enjoy doing it...he said!

He was the week's guest on the very interesting show Anchored by Anita  on Africa Magic entertainment-The making of a Mugul . In her usual style, Anita created a lovely atmosphere for Jim Iyke all in a bid to make him talk and pour out some things and she as usual succeeded. If you are a regular viewer like me, you will come to understand that Anita Possess that charm which will open up the dullest of men and make them talk when ever they are on her show.

In the course of her discussion with Jim, she asked him about the story of his son which made so much headlines on blogs, websites and even Magazine. In his usual way of answering question, Jim iyke (smiling) said he would not deny that the child is his or say the child is not. He argued that all he is asking the mother of the baby for is a simple DNA test to ascertain the claim made by the child's mother . He dint deny having any affair with the boys mother, but he claimed that only a DNA will resolve the paternity issue. Jim claimed that if a test was done and the child turns out to be his all well and good as he is not prepared to run away from his responsibility. He added  'that boy will not be taken from me if I know he is mine'

Anita left the child issue for a while to ask the Nollywood star about his upcoming reality show tagged 'Jim Iyke Unscripted' According to Jim, the show will take a very strong direction and as the title says, it will reveal Jim Iyke as Jim Iyke.  His life as a family person  and his relationship with his brother and sisters. The show will also show how he makes business happen, his struggle and battle for his child. He argued that bloggers have speculated a lot about his life but this is the time for him to tell his own side of the story.

Going forward Anita asked Jim if there are other children which we all currently don't know about and the Nollywood bad boy answered jokingly, 'come on, are you going to play a 2 face on me now' and they both laughed. 2face, take note.

During their chat, the Nollywood star claimed that he is just like any other being who enjoys living his life. He said  things happen in my life  and while I am  busy having fun with with it, people tend to take those issues seriously. He gave an instance on where bloggers made a meal out of the mere fact that he eat corn in public. He said it made headlines for a week on blogs, website  and social media

When Asked about his relationship with women, Jim Iyke claimed he had a fantastic girlfriend once but the lady left him because she could not deal with his life style which according to him is not a complicated one. He was never around much because he had to travel a lot for work..but he dint deny the fact that as a bad boy, he had woken up with strange faces lying by his side several times. He said his past life which was that of a  bad boy l has created a stigma which does not seem to want to go away so every one now see him as a perpetual bad boy which is not the case.

Anita asked jim a very interesting question during the show hear her, How do u break up with Ladies? Rather than give a straight forward answer, the Nollywood actor went philosophical. He said  People are in love with love, they don't want to apply the  sacrifice that is needed in a relationship. He said,  in relationships, Realism is denied and idealism glorified. He claimed Ladies  like comfort and want to build their life around comfort. He went on to add this, I walk into a relationship with my eyes opened because when things happen, rather than keep quiet, I talk about them and don't just let them go. He added, in every relationship, Jim Iyke will keep testing you from time to time. The answers he gave was a clever way of begging the question without addressing it.

Before ending the show, Anita took a brief tour around his closet. She checked out some of Jims collections. We saw shoes which he said  cost as much as 800 dollars to 1000 euro. Jim claimed that he is a Gucci man all the way and will wear any thing Gucci. His collections showed Plenty wrist watches and glasses as well. This Nollywood lover boy did not forget to make it clear that he was raised in Gabon to love good things.

We thank Jim as the interview gave us a peep into what to expect on his reality show 'Jim Iyke Unscripted'...because Jim say so!
