Solomon Lar The first Civillian Governor of Plateau,first National Chairman People Democratic Party PDP is dead.
According to the announcement by the state government, Chief Lar died at the age of 70 in a U.S. hospital, after a protracted illness.
“He died at about 3.00 a.m. American time (about 9.00 a.m. Nigerian time),” the governor told reporters on Wednesday evening, the statement said.
Chief Solomon Lar was the first civilian governor of Plateau state as stated above. May he rest in peace.
