The family of popular music video director Matthew Abiodun Aina(Matt Max) are angry with him. The reason being that he allegedly dumped his fiancee Martina who is a known face to his immediate family for another woman Eniola Efunkoya who is said to still be legally binded maritally to another man.
Matt Max secretly tied the knot with Eniola Efunkoya who is a make up artist (AweleBeauty) August 30, 2014. It was a hurriedly done wedding after Eniola left her marriage, the marriage was shielded from the knowledge of families and friends, many didn't know of the wedding until gists started flying around. It was gathered that Matt Max was in a long relationship of about four years with a lady Martina Atsuelime but left her for Eniola. According to a family source who wouldn't want mentioned "we never knew her (Eniola) we have not seen her family, she moved into his house and drove out everyone. Eniola just came into the picture, she told us her name is Eniola Cole, it was those who knew her that told us her husband's name is Cole. She got married to the man (Demola Cole) at Winners Chapel Ijebu Ode Ogun state and they are not divorced. This is unbelievable."
According to Demola Cole estranged husband of Eniola, “I got married to Adeola Eniola Efunkoya in May, 2011. She left the marriage this year, May 2014 for another guy who is a music video director ( Matthew Abiodun Aina) with trade name Mattmax. She left the marriage because of her secret affair with the so called Mattmax. On so many occasions, I have called the so called Mattmax to order over his secret affair with my wife. She has not properly divorced me because she is still my legal wife and now she has gotten married to the guy out there. All I need her do is to answer to the divorce letter filed to her because I am already free from her bondage of four years."
Presently Eniola has changed her name to reflect her new marital status on social media. She has also moved in with the music video director who shot one of D'Banj's hit songs. Fans of the music video director Matt Max are criticising him on social media advising him to retrace his steps.
